General Questions
Q: What time does the show open?
A: Doors open to the public from 10am on both days. The show closes at 5pm on Saturday and 4pm on Sunday.
Q: Will there be a cash point on site?
A: There is no cash point at Donington Park. The nearest is in Donington village or at the nearby East Midlands Airport.
Q: Are credit cards accepted on the door?
A: Yes, credit cards can be used on the door.
Q: Can I bring my pet?
A: Only Guide Dogs are allowed in the hall. Pets are allowed onsite within the outer car parking areas, but NOT within the paddock, pit lane or infield areas.
Q: Is there a bar on site?
A: There is a bar within the main exhibition hall.
Q: Are there food units on site?
A: There is a cafe within the exhibition complex and mobile food units outside the hall.
Q: Can I bring my own food and drink?
A: Yes you can bring food and drink into the venue.
Q: Can I sell my kit car at the show?
A: Yes. Follow the kit car parking signs and there will be a dedicated Cars For Sale area near the main club stands.
Q: Will there be someone taking photos of the cars for me to purchase on the day?
A: We plan to have a amazing feature called The Car's the Star, watch the website for more details!
Q: Are BBQ’s allowed on site?
A: BBQ’s are not permitted in the infield, but are allowed in the camping area. There will be a communal camping and eating area with a free cooking area. No open fires are allowed.
Ticketing Questions
Q: How can I buy a ticket?
A: Entry tickets are on sale now. Click here to book your tickets and save! Under 5′s go free as long as they are accompanied by a paying adult.
Q: Do children under 5 need a ticket?
A: No they do not as long as they are accompanied with an adult who has a valid entry ticket.
Q: Will I be able to buy a ticket on the door?
A: Yes you can buy tickets on the door from 10am at the main entrance ticket office.
Q: My tickets haven’t arrived yet. When will I get them?
A: If you have a ticketing issue please call 01903 236268 or e-mail info@doningtonkitcarshow.co.uk
Q: Can I get back into the show if I go out at any time?
A: Yes, members of the public will receive an ink stamp on their hand as they go out, if they wish to return. Those in the club display areas and those wishing to camp with receive wrist bands which must be worn at all times.
Camping Questions and Accommodation
Q: Can we camp in the club area?
A: No, the club display area is on the infield at Donington, and no camping is allowed here. There is a dedicated camping area set aside outside the track, on the Donington site. You may move your kit car out to this area for the night, before returning to the display area the next morning.
Q: Can we camp the night before?
A: There is camping on site. You can arrive any time from 12am on Friday 31st August. Pre booking is available at £TBCpp and bookings can be made via the advance tickets option here, or purchased on the day.
Q: Are there toilets on site for campers?
A: Yes there are both fixed and portable toilets on site open 24hrs
Q: Are there showers on site?
A: Yes there are free portable showers available.
Q: Is there a family/quiet campsite?
A: There is just one camping area available.
Q: Can I have a BBQ?
A: BBQs are allowed.
Q: Are there medical services on site?
A: Yes there are 24 hour medical services on site if needed
Q: Can I park my car next to my tent?
A: Yes you can park next to your tent.
Q: Are there electrical connections on site?
A: No, there is no electrical hook-up facility on site.
Q: Can I bring my caravan/trailer tent/motor home?
A: Yes you can bring any of the above but please note that camping is on grass.
Car Parking Questions
Q: Is there car parking available?
A: Yes, there is a public car park available free of charge.
Q: Is there disabled parking?
A: Yes, there is a disabled parking area, please ask on the gate and the marshals will direct you.
Q: Is there any way that I can park my car in the show rather than in the public car park?
A: Yes, if you own a kit car, we want you to be a part of the show! Follow the kit car parking signs and either join your club, or find a great spot for yourself.
Club Information
Q: I want to attend with my club display at the show?
A: Please liaise with your club to make sure they have booked space. Club areas will be clearly marked within the club display area.
Q: What time will clubs be allowed access?
A: Club cars will be allowed access to the infield from 07.30am.
